Win the Coastal, and I don't think it's much of a dilemma
If we're framing as better for the program "moving forward"......
Beating ND (or any big non-conf game) is great, but it's more of a sugar rush. Whereas winning the Coastal means we beat-out our peers, and is more conducive to long-term success & reputation of program.
This is especially true in 2019, where:
1) We haven't won Coastal since 2016
2) After 2017 and 2018, VT's program is seen as down/slumping
3) We started 0-2 in conference play --- so winning the Coastal would mean a great October/November for VT (which hopefully carries over to 2020, recruiting, etc)
