Fu can show up, walk right in, and just blow it up in 757 recruiting on year one. It doesn't work that way. The damage that man did for VT recruiting was in effect in 2008. It was happening long before Beamer left. I could tell you stories that are 100% true so help me God about on 2 occasions, 2 occasions Stiney and 3 others of the VT staff were there recruiting Tyrod Taylor and we grilled Burgers at Mike Smith's house. You wouldn't believe it. You absolutely wouldn't believe the demeanor or attitude of Stiney. Foster, Wiles, Billy Hite there and the salt of the earth. Fun, loud, sharing stories, cutting up and down to earth with at least 20 other local High School Coaches at that gathering, and there was one guy who was to good. To good to cut up with High School Coaches. It was beneath him. When discussing x's and o's, he would talk to us like we were little league coaches or children and was so condescending compared to a guy like Foster or Hite. It was laughable and this my friend, this is his reputation in the 757. All in all, you can go on and repeat the talking heads statement, "Stiney can recruit" lol. We are feeling the effects of what he did today on the field because when Fu came in, he was already with one hand tied behind his back in the 757 because all trust was gone, and most people don't understand that.
