They played a much better game against Miami than we did

Had a number of TFLs and kept Perry from passing the ball around like we saw in the second half of our game. Miami scored on individual effort by better athletes

Miami however really excelled at keeping Perkins in front of them, most of UVa's big gains were these kind of half ass jump ball back shoulder come back to me passes, and most of them were from Perkins scrambling and then tossing one up to Dubois in man coverage. I think the final score - 17-9- looks worse than the actual quality of the matchup. It ended *identically* to ours, this time with UVa attempting an end zone pass (two hail marys actually) as time expired, which would have potentially tied the game, pending UVa also scoring a 2 point conversion

If we can keep discipline and make Perkins scramble around and take a coverage sack I am confident we can keep them from scoring.

How our offense matches up against UVa's defense and their stringbean linebackers will determine if we can get out in front of them. If we go up two TDs at any point it's a wrap
