Fear Can Hold you Prisoner. Hope can Set you Free.

Board: Do you feel you’ve been rehabilitated?

Red: Rehabilitated? Well now, let me see. You know, I don’t have any idea what that means.

Board : Well, it means that you’re ready to rejoin society…

Red: I know what you think it means, sonny. To me it’s just a made up word. Politician’s word, so young fellows like yourself can wear a suit and a tie and have a job. What do you really want to know. Am I sorry for what I did?

Board : Well, are you?

Red: There’s not a day goes by that I don’t feel regret. Not because I’m in here and because you think I should. I look back on the way I was then, a young, stupid kid who committed that terrible crime. I want to talk to him. Try and talk some sense into him. Tell him the way things are. But I can’t. That kid’s long gone, and this old man is all that is left. I gotta live with that. Rehabilitated? That’s just a bullxxxx word. So you go on and stamp your form, sonny, and stop wasting my time. ‘Cause, to tell you the truth, I don’t give a xxxx.

I was the first college graduate of my family, and when I applied for college, I only applied to Virginia Tech.
I have been a huge fan of Hokie Football, Coach Beamer, and Bud Foster for 28 years, and TSL for 20.
I have no regrets defending and supporting the current group of kids and the current staff, brought in by Whit and which is fully supported by Frank Beamer and Bud Foster.

Whatever perceived mistakes various people claim that I have made here, were done with nothing but the best intentions. I try to bring new insights or perspectives to the board to share, and enjoy posting with fellow Hokies, which are few and far between out here in Texas. I really thought that was what this forum was for, atleast to a point. I have never posted anywhere else in a public forum, so live and learn I guess. Apparently my average of 40 posts per day is beyond what the current design of this forum can handle, without clogging the site, and annoying posters here. Since I work in websites, I have invited Will offline to discuss this limitation so that I can offer up potential solutions. From my perspective, various types of Hokie posters should be able to co-exist here without harming the quality of the experience for others, if designed properly. Just my 2 cents. Also, I'm sure Will and Chris have better things to do than baby sit us on this forum. So until this changes, I will (curb my enthusiasm) to follow the rules.
(Now that I've actually read them!)

Cheers and Go Hokies, Let's reach the Top of College Football Again !!
