In reference to recent posts on QUINCY's speed and power, I would like to develop a matrix (similar to crazy-hot matrix) that could be used to categorize running backs according to their potential power and elusiveness. Power variables (Y-axis) would of course be momentum (mass and speed) and ability to have short burst to hit the holes for short yardage. Elusiveness (X-axis) would include burst, top speed (i.e., 40 times), time to reach top speed or acceleration, and cutting ability.
It would be interesting to see where historic notable backs such as Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, LT, John Riggins, Earl Campbell, and the Fridge are placed. Lastly, where does QP fall.
