Hoping that since MY is a Virginia guy, and a long term Hokies fan, he will have more appreciation for the extra juice that playing some potential games against the likes of VCU, UR, Mason, or ODU might bring to the nonconf schedule. I grew up watching VT play those teams on a regular basis and really miss the days of attending those games on the road and seeing the stands packed with Hokies. For the large group of Hokie Nation members who live east of the Blue Ridge, it sure would be cool to be able to see VT play in Fairfax, Richmond, or Norfolk.
