Then I just just don't get it
There is targeting all the time when a linebacker meets a bruising tailback in the hole. I understand the idea of player safety. It's just going to be flawed officiating safety in football. I remember Ryan Shazier going down on the most benign play you'd ever see. The running back was low and Waller finished him off, leading with his shoulder and helmets colliding.
