There is targeting all the time when a linebacker meets a bruising tailback in the hole. I understand the idea of player safety. It's just going to be flawed officiating safety in football. I remember Ryan Shazier going down on the most benign play you'd ever see. The running back was low and Waller finished him off, leading with his shoulder and helmets colliding. You could eject dozens of players every game. Like I said, the contraversy will continue.
