Frank played field position football facilitated by a conservative offense.

This approach was defense first. Great special teams blossomed and created Beamer Ball. Frank cared about offense but the only statistic he cared about was winning. Most of his critics here measure his offense by statistics. Frank measured his offensive philosophy by how many games he won. The people who know football measured his philosophy and put him in the Hall of Fame.
