Even though that same QB came off the bench & led us to a 6 OT win? You
Give no allowance for the fact he’s a RS freshman making his first start on a huge national stage against a ranked team on their field in blustery conditions using receivers that are adjusting to their third QB this season? Yes, he only completed 9 but there were a couple of drops & there wasn’t any turnovers other than the last pass out desperation. One could argue that play calls on both the offense & defense cost us that game more than our QB.
I’m overall completely pleased with his performance & still have very high hopes for QP. His upside is tremendously high as long as he can shut out the blowholes & know nothing’s in the stands until he’s as perfect as they apparently need him to be.
