Since the ACC is already the best DI basketball conference in the NCAA
how much "value" does it really add for the schools? Did UVA and Syracuse gain "more" from playing a conference game than Duke gained playing in the 2019 Champions Classic against Kansas? If you wanted compare the UVA-Syracuse Game to a game involving 2 non-ACC power conference teams, then compare it to the Michigan State-Kentucky Game (the other game in the 2019 Champions Classic). If a conference is struggling for exposure, then I get playing a conference game as the first game. However, the ACC is not "struggling" for exposure in basketball unless I missed the memo.
