So Bronco Mendenhall is the #1 choice to replace Jim Harbaugh? What?

I'm not convinced Harbaugh gets fired at 9-3, but why in the world would UM alumni even entertain hiring Bronco coming off of an 8-4 season with a weak schedule?

Set that aside and assume it true: would that be a good thing or a bad thing for VT? Bronco is a known commodity and has an obvious ceiling. Would VT want to risk UVa landing a better coach?
