In fairness, there were a LOT of reasons to be worried about the direction.

It's not like it's the same exact team today as it was with Duke. If Fuente stayed the course and did NOTHING different, and still got these same results, then posts joking about people up in arms about it after Duke make sense. But things DID change, and the catalyst WAS people up in arms. Heck, Whit Babcock was even loudly voicing his concerns. Are we ridiculing him too?
