that’s when they hit their big plays, and b/c their OL was housing our DL, Bud had to commit extra guys to Perkins- Ashby & Dax had contain on him often, and even Floyd was spying him on several third downs. Bud took a gamble on what gave us the best chance to win- take Perkins’ legs away, and while it did slow him down, one on one matchups with the potential for big plays on the back end were the opportunity cost.
