that Fuente would seriously consider. Right now, he would be taking a risk going to Fayetteville. It would be tough coaching in a division with LSU, Auburn, and Alabama. The only thing that looks attractive to him and his family is being 1.5 to 2 hours from his family in Tulsa. That is a big factor. Fuente said that he and his wife wanted to live in a college town to raise their 3 daughters, so Fayetteville would fit that description. So would Norman and Stillwater.

I agree that losing Fuente would set Tech football back a few years since I would expect numerous key players to transfer. We have 21 of 22 starters and both our kicker and punter returning. QB should be much improved. If we get the right DC, our defense should be as good as it was the final half of this season. It looks like things are setting up for success for the next 2 seasons. Arkansas has been a disaster for some time. It's almost like a head football coaches graveyard.
