This morning’s RTD had yet a second article emphasizing the disappointment Bud Foster had with the firing of Coach Wiles. I’m still very surprised, disappointed, bordering on angry with this decision by Fuente. This makes two long term, dedicated, extremely competent coaches- Wiles and Cav- that were “let go” in a way that they did not deserve. Many will try to justify the decision, go ahead. But to me, his dismissal (and Cav’s, too) is tough to swallow. And honestly, I have lost respect for Fuente for this decision.

The team is dedicating the bowl game to Coach Wiles, Bud is giving him his lunch pail, good. But even those actions hold sadness. Here’s the second article. The first one was on December 17. I hope he finds an incredible position soon. That he deserves.
