It isn't the attitude that's needed. It's talent.
We haven't had an elite player on offense in a long time. Like a guy who could play anywhere in the country -- like Tyrod, David Wilson, Ryan Williams. Those guys were every bit as good an athlete as anyone they would face in a college game. Even guys like Josh Morgan and Eddie Royal were physically good enough to dominate competition and hold their own against virtually anyone. Defensively, we've had Tremaine Edmunds and the Fuller brothers. Other than that, I can't think of anyone who was at that level. Maybe Tim Settle?
The "it" factor isn't just an attitude -- without the talent, it's just false bravado. Bowden is a big-time athlete -- fast, tough, physical, quick, competitive. He's not just competitive -- he's all those other things as well.
