He blew the hire by saddling Fuente with Bud. Further, at is questionable whether Fuente was the the best hire at the time. Arguably a couple better that we passed on. He rubber stamped the Nike debacle. The Buzz contract was the worst in history of sports and Whit got lucky that A&M took him off our hands. MY may or may not turn out to be a good hire but at time MY was overpaid to come here. B-ball and Fball are 90% of sports that really matter so that’s what I’m looking at.
