But not really investing in the facilities which were already updated when he got here. Merryman was simply a little better than par when it was built. It's easily 15 years outdated now. It's also in poor condition (as is Cassell). The donations aren't coming in at a good rate. Hokie Club is still a mess. No long term vision for athletics.

I'm not saying he's bad or anything... but I don't think he's as good as Weaver in his prime.
