Not worried one bit.
Nothing against Fuente or whatever he’s doing.
First off, Fuente is a good coach. But he’s not the offensive genius, innovator, master QB whisperer, world beater as some posters here hoped for or pumped him up to be.
Fuente is a Good coach, not a great coach. Otherwise he would have been lured away by big money contracts already.
Do we want to lose a good coach? No.
But think a year ahead - either we win Coastal or we don’t. If we don’t win Coastal, Fuente will likely be on hot seat. If we do, he will get more interviews and possibly offers he wouldn’t want to pass up on. This is a limited time companionship as the situation dictates.
Get used to it. This is the new normal In College Football.
