Is it any more awkward "between JF and the fans" than it was on Sept 28?
The day after we were blown out by Duke?
He's still got the same job to do. And if we win, no one will care that he showed interest in another job in January. If we don't, the fans will want him gone just as many did 4 months ago.
Now if he has a strained relationship with Babcock because he was not forthright about his interest in Baylor, that could be a different story that could affect things going forward. But we really don't know the details there.
