College football is a business that VT has been blessed to not have to deal with the reality of for the majority of 30 years. This little meeting of Fuente and Baylor wasn't something crazy or unheard of, even at VT.

Frank's story of flirting with UNC is even worse than Fuente's, but being in 2000 and well before the dawn of 100M reporters on social mediam, it wasn't blown out of proportion. I mean, Frank and Cheryl picked out seats in the Dean Dome. Fuente didn't even visit the state of TX.
