Which part(s) if any of the official narrative do you question?

1. Baylor came to town to talk to JF about the job. (Whether or not it was their idea or his.)

2. Fuente was offered the job.

3. His salary would have increased by $2,000,000, if JF had accepted their offer.

4. After talking to the Baylor people, Fuente met with Whit at JF's home, and they discussed the offer, along with concerns regarding Hokie Football.

5. After their meeting, Whit felt confident that Fuente would stay.

6. Early Thursday morning, Fuente made clear his decision to stay, having turned down the Baylor offer.

I am inclined to believe the official story. I find it quite notable that they came to see him, instead of Fuente jetting off to Waco.

I keep an open mind, though, as I know that several here are more than skeptical, and think that what we are being told is just a PR move by Fuente and/or Whit, to do damage control.
