I've been a seven figure dude for years and never given to VT
I guess I just had other priorities. I still can't say I see it as all that important in the grand scheme of things. I've built an orphanage overseas that I still staff, given a house to a children's hospital, and spent a lot on suicide prevention causes, in particular for Veterans. But I never once thought of the Hokie Club. I will donate now, but I can't say it will be all that high of a priority to me. I guess I see it as throwing money at something for my own entertainment. I feel like there are better causes that make more of an impact in the world. Me pledging a six figure donation annually for my football team seems kind of selfish to me. Even if I had a 9 figure net worth instead of 8, I don't think I would ever be like Kevin Plank or T Boone Pickens. Just putting my thoughts out there, because many are wondering what goes on in the mind of an affluent Hokie. This was my 2 cents. Just too many other more deserving causes IMO.
