It just confirms we're average, not exceptional like we're led to believe

A storm isn't brewing, we aren't back, the sky isn't falling, but VT isn't really "HOME" to a lot of folks. 2020 isn't likely to be any more special than 2019. We are average college football, with average coaches, average players and above average marketing. This is the new norm. Interchangeable coaches, players and fans. Just accept the suck. This feels awful and a part of me just doesn't care any more. I'm gonna go enjoy Nolley's one and done season.
