So According to my calculations from this season..

Okay, go with me on this now.

Technically we beat UK, thanks to the fumble that was ignored on their last drive. (Not related, but just sayin)
So then we have NotreDame, Had we gotten one more 1st down when driving, we win that game, as ND would probably not have enough time to score.

Now with UVA, Had we gotten one or two more first downs when we had the lead, most likely we would have come out of Hooville with the Win.

So lets say, we won ND and UVA, that would have lined up Clemson, which we were not quite ready for, and would have been a loss.

That would have given us the Florida Gators in the Orange.
Hopefully we showed up for that game and played them close, but there's a good chance we lose that game, so let's assume we do.

That would have given us a record of 10-4, instead of 8-4.

How differently would you feel about this team, had we ended the season 10-4 with a close loss to the Gators?

I would argue that I would feel the exact same as I do now, since the margin between us winning and losing those other two games was paper thin.

And if you agree with me, than how can you not be high on VT's coaching staff, with a brand new qb and 2nd youngest team in ACC Nearly delivering a 10 win season!

Thoughts?
