because newsflash to everyone...there's NOTHING better or distinctive about VT than the myriad of other 2nd tier schools out there. The only thing we have to hang our hat on is that we can be the HOME program. UNC can NEVER be the home program to a kid from VA.

Its the only way. There's no possible world out there where we start landing top 25 classes regularly again without being a force in-state.

We need more 4-star level talent. Are we really thinking we can pull 8-10 4 star kids out of SEC or Big 10 territory? That will never be our bread and butter.
