If I was an MSU alumni and someone contact me about giving to athletics, I'd literally laugh in their face. As for VT, we can afford to pay a women's bball coach about $600k/year in a sport that at best garners attendance of 2-3000 at home and managed only 781 attendees for the 2nd round NIT at Cassell against VCU. Despite this, most everyone complains about how far behind we are financially. How about, not try and do everything. Get a women's bball coach for $100 or $150k a year.....No one but 2 or 3 people will actually notice the difference. Fuente is paid too much but that's a different issue.
