...the hurricane, although the way they did it was at best, very questionable. Whit was working overtime to accommodate the game when they finally let us know they were well on their way to Florida. Most Hokie fans gave them a pass due to the unique circumstances.

What was completely unacceptable was ECU scheduling the make up game, our make up game with NCSU. We were left scrambling to find a team who had a open date and would play us. That was ECU stabbing VT in the back, twisting the knife, then taking a huge crap on our wounded body.

Whit was right to cancel the series! I back him 100% with that decision, and I'm stunned that any Hokie fan would side with ECU. That's like backing Tom Brands with what he did to our wrestling program.
