They suspended day to day operations..


XFL season two is ten-months from kicking off. Given where we are as a society and the virus - why would they need full-time/fully staffed operations right now?

They may fold, but there is a difference in suspending operations and closing down the league for good. I think Vince is trying to minimize his losses until he can pack arenas with some rasslin again.

AS much as it is going to kill some folks to hear - the league was actually AHEAD of where they projected themselves to be when the virus shut things down. All the gloom and doom "fake news" made me laugh because I've followed the XFL since it was first announced - I'm a spring football enthusiast - attendance, TV ratings, the whole deal was slightly ahead of what they predicted going into it. The one thing they could not predict was the virus.

NOTE - That said, I just took a quick look around the web and I might be 100% wrong and this thing is over. If so, a damn shame to see it go. That's enough to ruin my damn week.
