I was telling him that I watched 2007 WVU-Pitt last night -- WOW -- and we were laughing about how RichRod lost at home to a 4-7 Pitt team when #2 WVU was one win away from playing for the BCS Championship ... then RichRod left for Michigan.

Chris said, "That's like Frank Beamer losing to BC at home in the last game of the 1999 season, then leaving for UNC right after that." (Yes, we know he actually threatened to leave a year later ... humor us.)

Then Chris said, "If Frank had left and taken that whole staff with him, Cav would have recruited Richmond and the Peninsula, Stiney would have also been recruiting in the 757 ... DeAngelo Hall, Vince Hall, Chris Ellis, the Adibis, Jimmy Williams ... they all would have gone to UNC instead of Virginia Tech."

Yikes.
