In terms of roster management, Buzz is the worst in my lifetime as VTHC

And Im not sure I know of anyone else in the industry off-hand who would be worse

How, when you know your best shot at a run in the NCAA tournament would be in 2018-2019, do you not allot all 13 scholarships? How, when you know your best freshman is close to being ineligible, do you not have a contingency plan?

How is Kerry Blackshear the only post player on your roster? Can you imagine if he had gotten hurt?

From a talent evaluator standpoint, Buzz was average (at best). Im not sure I can think of a single player Buzz signed who significantly outplayed their ranking. But I can, however, give a long list of players they missed on:

Seth LeDay
Tyrie Jackson
Johnny Hamilton
Satchel Pierce
Jonathan Kabongo
Keshaun Langley
Kobe Langley
BJ Mack
Yavuz Gultekin
Shane Henry

Thats just in 5 years...that means they AVERAGED 2 misses per class. You just cant do that and grow a sustainable program. The bubble at VT was going to burst big time this season if Buzz had stayed. Sure, youd bring back Blackshear (maybe)...but no Cattoor, Alleyne, Ojiako, and no Bamisile in this class.
