Given 3 patsies on our schedule annually, winning seasons (7-6) means we
are going 4-6 against other P5 teams. It means our coach isn't even at .500 level against his peers. Why would you want to keep a coach who is a below average performer against his peers? Even an 8-5 record means you are just breaking even.
Since football here funds all the other nonrevenue sports, expect massive revenue losses when fans get disgusted and don't buy tickets, or hokie club memberships.
