If I become that wacko then send me to the Hoo board. I didn't want to say anything that could slide into being political. My point was not political per se but these things tend to become that.
What I was getting at is that no matter what happens - even very bad things - there is someone who is in a position to benefit. Could be economic or ideology or power or political. Heck just down the road is the NN shipyard. To be blunt, war and conflict are good for business there. That type of thing is what I was getting at.
For COVID there has never been clear info or a course of action. Yet almost immediately the decision makers and strategies were strongly divided on political lines. That continues. That fact alone guarantees us that decisions being made are not necessarily motivated by best intentions. Heck the "experts" keep changing the facts about COVID weekly yet the battlelines for decision makers and influencers are completely opposed. Its illogical and thats because there are other factors that weigh into the decision making. Let me be clear I am not pointing at one side being right and one being wrong. Beyond my knowledge. I'm just saying that some years from now when people are outside of the current fear and emotion, they will be able to evaluate all this with much clearer perspective
