He had a clear vision and plan .... He was able to get team, recruits and fans to buy into it .... He has used portal/graduate transfers well .... He did it with energy and enthusiasm ... When 1st hired I didn't think much of it but he has become a good fit for UVA.
Now all things being equal, the answer is no ... UVA shouldn't be able to out recruit Tech ... Unfortunately more and more I am seeing a "throw it up on wall and see if it sticks" approach than a clear vision from Fu and Tech especially in recruiting .... Tech has talent to be good this year and next but will it be able to use that to their advantage in recruiting or fall back into a "dazed and confused" look afterwards is my main question ....
