I read posts and many seem to share my opinion that in-state recruiting MUST improve.

To do that, relationships with coaches and schools need to be restored. Over time. Creating trust and dialogue with coaches and their potential college FB kids as they enter high school football.

Unfortunately, all the popular opinions seem to be that Shane did NOT excel in this area. Quite the contrary if you believe a lot of what’s discussed here.

I have no clue if that “opinion” is accurate or not. I think we should all take all of the message board dialogue with a grain of salt.

I certainly would root for Shane like nobody’s business.

But I don’t know.......
