Nobody knows if there will be a vaccine with certainty. As a business man who serves on several Boards, I understand and have seen the strategy of quoting aggressive timelines, only to grossly fail.

The flu virus vaccine is only 67% effective. The HIV virus still doesn't have a preventative vaccine approved after more than 30 years. Sure - the amount of current research is unprecedented on this virus, but saying someone who doesn't believe a vaccine will be available in 6 months is spreading dangerous misinformation is "perplexing".
