With all the debate on playing, how many have considered the players' pov

So many various demographics, ideologies, risk tolerances and just general differences person to person on a message board or any other forum, that its impossible to agree on anything. I'm wondering how many are considering the preferences of the ones with skin in the game. The players. Do you think these 18-22 yr olds are adverse to playing because of the virus? Honestly do you think a single one isn't all in about playing? Keep in mind these are adults, not children who need to be told what to do.
Games can be played with limited or even no fans. Accomodations can be made for the coaches. Limited media. Etc. All that risk can be mitigated better than a saturday at Home Depot and certainly better than a Saturday night at the Hokie House or a frat party. So it really comes down to the players and the contact with each other. Note I am not minimizing that. At the same time most 18-22 yr olds are having contact in all sorts of ways. Season or not they will be doing their normal thing just as they already are. Anyone who thinks college students are quarantining is delusional. So how much added risk to society does an 11 on 11 football game add?
I'm not trying to incite another be cautious or be tough debate. Leave fans out of it. Just trying to evaluate if the players and coaches want to do this...and everything else is mitigated...isn't that a compelling reason to play?
