for this once-great-and-now-horrible franchise? I've been a lifelong Redskins fan, but watching them circle the drain over the past few years/decades, my interest has dwindled to almost zero. I almost never watch them play anymore, only check in occasionally to verify they are still an unmitigated embarrassment on the field. The only thing they haven't accomplished yet is to go 0-16, which I figure they have a great shot to get done this season.

With the name change, maybe this is the excuse many ex-Skins fans need to dump this train wreck Danny Boy hath wrought, and move on to supporting another team? Ravens or Panthers seem like the obvious regional alternatives for me...
