The only drawback I saw was if a mildly recruited freshman(let's say Greg Dortch) has a bust out freshman year at a middling program(Wake) and is cherry picked by the big boys a year later. The sit a year rule did deter this but last year they gave out waivers like candy. Except to our transfer(s).
