As opposed to rushing 4 tired lineman & 7 tired instead of 8 in coverage?


Besides IIRC it wasn't just rushing 3 per se. Foster dropped a down lineman into coverage. VT has gotten a lot of INTs and stops using that play call over the years, but there is no perfect defense.
