Fair Assessment of His Talent
I think it is pretty fair to argue he is the best talent to enter the NBA since Lebron. Hell, Giannis and Steph took a few years to provide meaningful stats to their teams. Zion changes the floor dynamic significantly on day 1. Now the challenge for him is to progress from this point.
Regardless of people's feelings about him (which seem to be way more anti-Duke and anti-ESPN to be honest), he is damn successful for an NBA rookie. People just try to hate on Zion, and they root against his success
Agreed he probably should gradually transition his body to a lower weight, that can happen over years and years. When you're getting paid that kind of money, you can learn to make lifestyle changes, particularly over the course of years.
Hands down, Zion is a dominant rookie, and could develop into the league's superstar.
