nothing has changed. Still no vaccine. Either youre going to bring 30,000 students from all over the world into Blacksburg or youre not going to have students. Neither is a positive towards making a season happen.

Im certain there are coaches out there who are optimistic, because you have to be...thats your job. You cant get caught thinking you wint have a season, then the season happens and youre not prepared. So you operate as though there will be one.

So when people are looking for nuggets of info and they ask those coaches "is the season happening?" Their response will be an optimistic one. So it gets reported as such.

There will not be a college basketball season this year, and if there are college football games at all, they will end tragically well before the season finishes
