and rip the band aid off the wound. If they are not comfortable preceding to contact practices there is no reasonable way to progress to actual games. The other question is what has to happen that has not already happened for them to be comfortable with contact practices? My opinion, this is just a slow dance to ease the constituency in to the actual realities.
