Yes, men’s and women’s sports will be cut equally but this could mean that a majority of the following sports are going away (in no particular order): baseball, golf, lacrosse, softball, track, swimming, volleyball, soccer, wrestling, and the list goes on.

Nobody “supports” it or wants it to happen, but it is reality. This is the path forward that Big 10 and Pac 12 presidents have chosen. There’s really not much more to it than that. You simply cannot lose $100 million dollars and think that you’ll continue funding enterprises that were losing money to begin with.
