Good ole boy club
With the numbers that Herbert is putting up and all the categories that he leads, he's still not in the Heisman conversation.
Goes to show how that system is run and that it favors the larger schools and that it is not solely based off of the numbers.
I think last week ESPN had Trevor Lawrence, Etienne and Fields. Obviously they're projecting Fields because he hasn't set foot on the turf yet but Etienne isn't throwing up large numbers and you would think they would at least throw Mac Jones or Trask in the conversation over Fields but I reckon it all ties into the Good Ole Boy System and Herbert will continue getting no love.
If he has continued success by throughout the year, hopefully the ACC will recognize him with an award or two.
