He graduated from Uniontown High School (Uniontown, PA) a couple of years before me.

(His older brother, Nelson Munsey, played for the Detroit Lions, as I recall)

Chuck was suspended from the high school football team for drug use. He obviously was a great talent, even then, but had issues.

I vividly recall sitting in Uniontown's gym watching him play forward in basketball against Ringgold High.

He was guarding a skinny 6'1" forward from Ringgold named Joe Montana.
