I will be disappointed because I really wanted to see what Tapp, Tearlink, etc. could do for the defense. I will admit I was under-whelmed at the Hamilton to DC hire, but I still wanted to see what they could do for recruiting and defense.

I will be relieved because it will be over.

Do I want Fu to stay? I'm still not sure, but am leaning toward no. Recruiting is bad, and going to get worse with the toxic atmosphere surrounding the program. I also believe the main problem with recruiting is the lack of developing relationships with the high school coaches in the Mid-Atlantic region. I think not having a good relationship with high school coaches is a big part of why we are not seeing player development. I believe the close relationships Beamer's staff led to inside information from players' coaches (player X is a really hard worker while player Y gets by on his athletic ability but doesn't put in the work). I think this is the reason we could develop so many marginal recruits into good college players under Beamer, and our players today just aren't developing.
