What is very interesting to me is that although football and basketball recruiting is very different wrt total numbers of players needed, Mike Young and staff seem to be getting guys that some say we can't get in football because of our location. Justin Fuente can't get them but Frank Beamer and Mike Young can.

Do the basketball players have a private club for night life? No but Mike Young makes that less of a negative. How long he can do that and how many other coaches, in either football or basketball can do it IMHO is the main disagreement on this board.

How many Mike Young types are out there for our next coaching hire? I am on the side that says very, very few. Others believe whereas they may not grow on trees, there are enough of them that VT is attractive to, it's just up to the Admin to find them.
