I'm reading all is good in Blacksburg now for some? I enjoyed bringing the cup back as much as anyone. The guys played well and motivated. So we beat a very average UVA team and the players tossed gatorade on Fu, is this the new standard? Very few are arguing CJF is an evil guy. His guys seem to like him, heck, I like him...yep. The covid excuse does not work though. We had more returning offensive guys in the same system and this was the year. We actually had an advantage offensively over most, returning QB etc. 5-6 is not THE year. D has some excuse but we still have no recruiting buzz. Our best player was a transfer. Credit them for picking up KH but we are still 19-18 the last 3 years. That is not good enough here. We have bad losses to ODU, Duke, GT, Pitt(2), Liberty and absolutely embarrassing wins v. Rhode Island and Furman among others. I'm not willing to give this a pass because we played one good game against an average UVA team. All is not forgiven, all is not forgotten. I love and support the University at all turns with time, merchandise, and $. I really enjoyed the win last night but I believe It is still time for new leadership.
