Typically coaches who believe more in a "process"

Are more inclined to let his teams play through jams and rough patches. Then as it gets closer to March you can get a better feel for when you can let your team play vs when you need to call a timeout and stop the bleeding. If you save them early with timeouts then the players have a tendency to always look over at the sideline when things go slightly bad. They need to stay in the moment and play. Every opponent in every game will make some type of run, and its better for a tean to figure it out themselves and know what that feels like than rely on the coach to tell them exactly what to do.

Make the corrections in the film room and your team will be much better for it. Even if it means you win by a smaller margin or even lose a close game early in the season.
